So! Tonight's entry is going to be all about..Le Roleplay. As we all know, I do love me a good roleplay. Short story writing is amazing to me, as well as all the psychological mayhem you can cause a fictional person with out dire consequences of say... the law. Or...getting locked into an assylum.
The only thing I don't do..is L.A.R.P. Sorry you LARPers out there, y'all freak me the hell out.
I have been roleplaying for years and years, and I have more than two dozen characters if I think real hard about it. I put a lot of time and work into them, and they are all quite fuctionally different. Although the one thing you will notice is save for literally 3 charries I have, they are all gay men. Not because I'm the type of yaoi fan girl and won't roleplay anything else because I have the hots for gay men... But because I find it horridly annoying and difficult to play my own gender or play a male after someone of my own gender.
Don't get me wrong, who doesn't love a orange haired kitty boy in leather stretch pants? But I digress.
I have a few characters that I find the most interesting, so for the rest of this entry it shall be nothing but character personality quizzes!

What game or setting do you role play in? I've only ever played D&D as far as "getting into character" kind of role playing goes. Also, have you seen Darkon? That made me afraid of LARPers.
ReplyDeleteUhymmm, well all of my characters (if not based off something) are all original.. and I don't really use a game or based setting. I typically roleplay over aim or email, or on gaia through private messaging or something, and it's usually a loose plot I (sometimes we) put together and then uhm.. you just go from there. It's a lot of improv..and say if I get bored roleplaying Raph in real NYC, then he can get sucked through a portal somewhere ancienty. Lol. And I have never seen it.. but I know a few people that have seriously gotten farked over by cult LARPers....*shutter*
